Who we are
In 1980, with a vision to teach people what faith is and how it works, pastor and teacher, Frank Machen started Producing Faith Church in his home with a handful of people. Over the next 30 years, the church impacted countless people, beginning with Frank Machen’s daily radio broadcast on WDJC for nearly 15 years and over 1 million audio tapes and materials freely given to anyone who asked!
Through the teaching of the uncompromised Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, we have seen tremendous healings, miracles, and financial provision in the lives of those that have learned the principles of faith.
God has blessed the church with great favor in many countries. We have been able to minister and strengthen pastors and churches in Cuba, Honduras, Mexico, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Haiti, and Canada.
In April 2011, at the Lord’s direction, Frank’s oldest son, Mark Machen, stepped into the role as Senior Pastor. For the next 2 years, Pastor Mark began to lay the foundation for the vision that God has given him. In May 2013, after teaching a series entitled, “Living a Life of Faith”, Pastor Mark announced that the Lord had instructed him to change the name of the church to Life of Faith Church because “the just shall live by faith” (Hebrews 10:38).
What God has done in the short time since the name change and implementation of Pastor Mark’s vision has been nothing short of amazing. With a new emphasis on the grace of God and how it can be effectively applied through faith in a believer’s life, the church has experienced more revelation, more joy, and more life than ever before!
Pastor Mark is passionate about teaching believers how they can have the power of the Holy Spirit operating in their lives. His desire is to see church congregations operating in the gifts of the Spirit in the same way that the early churches of the Bible did.

Frank Machen is still very active in ministry. At the beginning of 2014, he launched into a traveling ministry with a focus to encourage other churches and ministries with the timeless message of faith in God’s Word. God has given him particular favor with Hispanic churches. When Frank is not traveling, he and his wife, Pat, still attend Life of Faith Church!
