Who we are
Living Hope is a vibrant loving church-family based in the Inner city centre of Hull. We are so easy to find and even easier to park. We have our own carpark too! We are also close to major bus routes and the bus/rail station.
Our wonderful church family includes people of all ages and backgrounds as well as from all parts of the world. God’s family is REALLY BIG! We truly are a local and international church-family.
Living Hope has a church family that have known the love of Jesus and seek to love everyone with His love. We have discovered a fresh new purpose in our lives and enjoy caring for each other in so many ways. Sundays are a good starter. A sense of family and belonging is at the heart of who we are.

Jon is married to Rachel, who incidentally grew up in Willerby, Hull. They established a family home in S. Wales, whilst both working as Registered Nurses.
It was following a move to Scotland that Jon was called into ministry and studied at what is now known as Edinburgh Theological Seminary.
The journey of the “call” to Living Hope began in 2014-15 and culminated with ministry beginning in 2016.
Jon has a passion for Christ centred preaching that is in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit!
Both he and the church-family here at Living Hope would value your urgent prayers for God to pour out His Spirit in our generation!

Solid Rock is a youth group that meets every Friday evening at 7:30pm. Our aim is to provide an environment for young Christians to develop spiritually whilst also providing a base for fellowship with other Christian teenagers. The group is all young people of secondary school age. Our name is based on the Matthew 7:24-29.
We welcome all young people to our youth group and we are always looking towards closer links with other youth groups from within the city. Our desire is to see young people walking with the Lord and sharing the Gospel with others wherever possible.
Our evenings include; fun, fellowship and faith. We work though Christianity Explored and discussion topics which help our youths opinions and views, encouraging them to develop and grow in faith.
We arrange trips out and residential weekends to encourage our youth to develop their relationships.
