Living Springs Christian Centre History
The small wooden church, located off State Highway 1 in the South Waikato town, was built in one day by the community in 1919. A quarter acre section had been donated by J C Allan in 1910.
It was originally called St John's Methodist Church before the town's Anglican and Methodist communities combined in 1977.
It was then sold to the Assemblies of God Fellowship and its new name came from the town's abundance of freshwater springs.
Pastors Peter and Vera Hira oversaw the church until 1979, followed by Pastors Ray and Helen Connell until 1984.
Pastors Murray and Val Roberts came in February 1985 and have remained ever since.

Help me pray
Grant that I may not pray alone with the mouth; help me that I may pray from the depths of my heart.
