Who we are
The Assemblies of God was founded in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, with 300 people at the founding convention. Today, there are nearly 13,000 churches in the United States, with over 3 million members, and more than 69 million members worldwide, making the Assemblies of God the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination. The four core beliefs of the Assemblies of God are Salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Living Waters Assembly of God (LWAOG) is an ever-growing and changing church family, located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. We are an Evangelical Church, meaning we are in agreement with the Christian gospel, especially as it is presented in the four Gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We also have classical Pentecostal roots. For more information on our beliefs, see What We Believe here.
Our beliefs are based on the Bible, and our mission is very simple: to lead people to honor and glorify God, and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. That means we are not about a building, or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy and freedom that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ. We seek to present Jesus, the Messiah, through Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship and Compassion ministries, and strive to present every person complete in Christ, mature, fully trained, and perfect in Him. Colossians1:26-28

Leader Bio:
Pastor David Levandusky was appointed to serve as Living Waters Assembly of God's Senior Pastor on September 1, 1989.
The attributes that best describe Pastor David as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Living Waters Assembly of God, where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them, and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor David takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the few free hours of his day focused on personal Prayer and Bible study.
He attended Zion Bible College in East Providence, Rhode Island, from 1967-1969. He graduated from Faithh School of Theology in December 1976, and pursued his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from The American Bible College and Seminary located in Oklahoma in May 1998, with a degree in Pastoral Christian Counseling.
His precious wife Carol has served with him in family and Church ministry work for 52 years. She has worked with children's ministries, visitation, hospitality, and multiple minstry areas, unseen by most in the church. Pastor David calls her the glue in the family and ministry that holds most of it together.
They have three grown children and two grandchildren all of whom are serving the Lord.

Dress Code
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors Him. Most of our members wear something in the range of plain formal everyday wear to business casual.
