Who we are
Manor Park Church is a contemporary, growing church, meeting on Dines Green, Worcester. We were formed as a daughter church from Woodgreen Evangelical Church (Warndon, Worcester) in 2000. We have a wide range of people who meet together of all ages and walks of life.
One of our passions is church planting. In 2012 we planted our first church, and we pray that under God this will happen again in the future.
Our main worship meetings centre on teaching from the Bible since we believe that God speaks to us today through the Bible. We seek to teach the truth in a lively way that speaks to the world of the 21st century. We surround this with contemporary worship, prayer and end with refreshments.
The church is not a group of individuals but a family and as such we enjoy meals together, weekends away and other activities where we can build relationships and friendships with each other. We encourage everyone to be involved and active in church life together.
We are convinced that God gives real meaning to life and that we can only make sense of life when we accept that God is real and that the claims of his Son, Jesus, are accepted. You would hear more about these claims at any one of our meetings.
We are affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC), a group of over 500 like-minded churches.

Manor Park Evangelical Church Service Times
Sunday
If you visit us on any Sunday morning at 10:30am you’ll receive a warm welcome. That will be followed by singing, prayer, a children’s talk, a Bible reading and a talk based on the Bible. We end with coffee and chat. Sometimes we end with a fellowship meal.
On the practical side we have a loop system for hearing aids and a creche where parents can hear what’s going on in the meeting. If children stay in morning worship they get a sheet to help them follow the sermon. About half way through the meeting children leave for Young Church.
On Sunday evenings we often have training sessions or extra events to build up the church. On Sunday evenings two of our youth groups, MiniParkers and DnD also meets.
It's been more than 7 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Manor Park Evangelical Church History
History
May 2000
Manor Park is a daughter church of Woodgreen Evangelical Church (Warndon, Worcester). In May 2000 Christians living in the St John’s area of Worcester began to meet together on Sunday mornings for worship.
The beginnings of our parent church can be traced back to a meeting that used to take place in a waiting room of Worcester Shrub Hill railway station from 1882 onwards. This meeting grew quickly and the Railway Mission was built in the centre of Worcester and was used for almost 100 years.
Further growth meant a new church building was needed: Woodgreen Evangelical Church was finished in 1995. This new church was built to seat 300 people but by 1999 this was not big enough to cope with all the people wanting to come. Various solutions to this problem were considered and when it was discovered that there was a group of active members who lived in the St Johns area of the city, these folk agreed to set up a separate meeting, held at Manor Park Special School.
Very quickly, the Manor Park meetings took on a life of their own and various other activities were started and blossomed. Larry Kinemann from the United States joined the team which included Steve Mitchell, Jerry Reakes-Williams, Brian Collett and Mark Morgan. Numbers grew and by Spring 2004 Manor Park was able to stand on its own two feet and became independent.
In September 2006, we appointed our first pastor, Roy Summers. Shortly afterwards, in 2011, Ryan Mulliete was appointed as a second Pastor.
Manor Park moved to Dines Green Primary School in the summer of 2009.
September 2012
At the end of September 2012, after much prayer and planning, around 30 brothers and sisters left Manor Park for a new church plant in Warndon. We hope to plant more churches in the years to come, God helping us.

Help my unbelief
Dear God, help my unbelief. When I'm in pain, I forget that you care about me. I forget that you have helped me through my trials. I forget that you hold me in your arms to keep me safe. I forget that you are feeling my pain with me. I forget that you love me, I forget that I am important to you. Show me your presence - let me feel your enveloping love. Heal my hurting soul. Thank you for staying with me even in my unbelief.
