The music, prayer and responses are led by the (Chapel) Choir (accompanied on the organ) using the Book of Common Prayer setting. Psalms, prayers and a hymn and anthem are sung - the congregation is welcome either to participate in the service as directed or to simply sit and let the music wash over them.

Compline, also known as Night Prayer, is one of the daily offices of the Church of England. It involves short prayers, readings, responses and a hymn and psalm, and conducted by candlelight. We use the order of service in traditional language, from the Book of Common Prayer.
It is a particularly beautiful way to end an evening, especially if it has been a long day.
