Darden was the Founding Pastor of Mercy Road Fellowship. Before that, he and his wife Belinda, helped plant Hope Church in San Antonio, TX, where they lived from 2000-2007. He earned a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis in 1998, and a Bachelor of Arts (in Art) from the University of Northern Iowa in 1993.
