Who we are
Vision:
As a church in Aurora that is centered in God’s Word and prayer, we are: GENUINE as we welcome our community and build relationships. RELEVANT to all ages through activities, fellowship, and teaching. CONNECTED to our community through outreach, service, and missions. Genuine. Relevant. Connected.
Mission:
The mission of MABC is to bring people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to equip them to grow and together reach others with His love.
Matthew 28: 19-20, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
Matthew 22: 37-39, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
What We Believe:
God is the all‐knowing, all powerful, ever present creator of the universe.
Jesus is the Son of God, Savior of man, and Lord of all.
The Holy Spirit manifests God’s active presence in the world.
People are created in God’s image and for His glory, but are separated from God by their sin.
Salvation is a free gift from God that cannot be earned.
The Bible is the written word of God, testifying to the living word of God, Jesus Christ.
The Church is God’s people, partnering in God’s redemptive mission.
The Great Commission is the responsibility of all believers to share their faith with others.

The way, the truth, and the life
Lord Jesus, thou who art the way, the truth, and the life; hear us as we pray for the truth that shall make all free. Teach us that liberty is not only to be loved but also to be lived. Liberty is too precious a thing to be buried in books. It costs too much to be hoarded. Help us see that our liberty is not the right to do as we please, but the opportunity to please to do what is right.
