Morning Star Community Church Q&A
Question: Do I have to check in my kids? Can they go in with me to the main service?
Answer: That’s your call. Your kids are more than welcome in MStar Kids classes for age-appropriate and engaging teaching, activities, and fun. But they’re also welcome to sit with you in the main service if you’d prefer. Either way, we want them to love church! For new parents, we have a “parent and baby room” upstairs with a live stream of the service where you can still engage in our gatherings if your little one gets a bit fussy.Question: What do I wear? Is there a dress code or expectation?
Answer: We believe Jesus is more concerned about our hearts than our clothes, so you’ll find people in shorts and t-shirts, jeans and flannel, as well as dresses and suits. Just give others the same grace to worship as they see fit as well.Question: Can I bring coffee into the Sunday gathering?
Answer: YES! Our auditorium is a room where we focus on Jesus, but having a sip doesn’t get in the way of that. Bring your own from home, or enjoy a nice hot cup from our complimentary stations in our lobbies! Church Address

Leader Bio:
The Lord has blessed my wife Denise and me with four children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law (Denise aptly calls them “in-loves”), and 12 grandchildren! Our time is filled, our house is often full, and our hearts are overflowing with thanksgiving for each of these dear gifts from the Lord.
If I’m not spending time with our grandkids, I love reading and studying theology, current events, law, politics—really, just about anything! I also enjoy music, playing the piano, and working out at the gym (sometimes).
Being raised in a musical family, I always thought my future would involve a classical music track or perhaps ministry of worship and praise. I never imagined that the Lord would, many years ago, lead me to shepherd a flock. In many ways, though, I can see how the Lord prepared me though the influence of so many godly professors and pastors who invested in my life. Now, as a father and grandfather, I see more clearly the amazing parallels there are in raising a family and raising and equipping disciples in the body of Christ.
I love what God is doing and am so grateful to be part of it!
