Baie welkom by Mosaïek. Ons is ’n comm-UNITY van geloof, liefde en hoop aan die Wes-Rand van Johannesburg.
Van die begin af was dit vir ons duidelik… die lewe gaan oor verhouding. In ’n sekere sin ís God verhoudings. Hy is liefde. Daar is ’n volmaakte band tussen die Vader, Seun en Heilige Gees en ons word uitgenooi tot daardie soort lewe. Ons is so gelukkig as wat ons is in ons verhoudings. Dis waar ons seerkry, maar dis ook waar ons genees.
Ons probeer groei in ons beweging na God toe, na mekaar toe, na die wêreld toe en dit alles bymekaar bring om ’n sekere soort lewe, ritme, te ontwikkel wat lewegewend is vir onsself en vir ander. Een van die uitstaande eienskappe van Mosaïek is dat ons insluitend is; baie inklusief en oop is. Mense wat ons besoek vind dit partykeer moeilik om uit te vind wie ons regtig is en waar onsself posisioneer in die kerkwêreld. Is ons gereformeerd, hervormd, charismaties, pinkster, metodisties? Eintlik is ons iets van alles omdat dít wat ons bymekaar hou nie soseer ons dogma is nie, maar ons verbintenis aan hierdie reis na God toe, na mekaar toe en na die wêreld toe.
So jy is welkom… as jy vrae het oor jou geloof, oor jou pyn, oor waarheen jy met jou lewe moet gaan. Miskien het Mosaïek iets vir jou, misien kan Mosaïek ’n metgesel vir jou word op jou lewensreis.
