Who we are
We are a family who loves to worship the God who saves. There is nothing that invokes the blessing and presence of the Lord quite like a community of believers worshiping together in unity. We ‘Enjoy God’ when we ignore fear or the expectations of others and experience the freedom which comes from having an authentic relationship with God. It’s our desire that you spend time with God, enjoy life to the fullest, and worship our creator.
Scriptures: Luke 1:47; John 4:23-24; Luke 10:27
We believe truth changes everything. When we are ‘Growing in Truth’ we have a better understanding of how to navigate this world and how to live out the divine calling placed on us. The Word of God saturates us and changes us through the person of the Holy Spirit. Growing in truth guides us in knowing right from wrong, gaining wisdom verses living in foolishness and creates a firm foundation for life. It is our desire to seek out truth and live in the significance of His grace.
Scriptures: Matthew 7:24-27; John 17:7, Timothy, Isaiah, Romans 12:1-2, Life application verses: 2 Corinthians 9:7-8; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Corinthians 2:10-16
We believe we are created to have meaningful relationships with others. God did not make us to live alone, stay in isolation or be separated from real community. When we choose to ‘Share Life’ we benefit from each other’s life experiences and support. We believe everyone desires to know and be known and to share his or her story. It is our hope that you experience the blessings that come from interacting with others and take the step into community to enjoy the hope, life, love, and friendships that come from sharing life together.
Scriptures: Ephesians 2:19-22; Ephesians 4: 11-16; Acts 2:42-47
We believe that doing something for someone, regardless of his or her response to us, really matters and changes all of us. We want to live like Jesus lived. He reached out to people, cared for them and gave of himself. When we choose to ‘Live the Mission’, we are simply choosing to love, value and appreciate people for who they are. We invite you to join us on this transforming journey by investing generously into someone else’s life in real, sacrificial and tangible ways.
Scriptures: Mark 16:15; Matthew 7:37 & 38;Mathew 25:35-40; Proverbs 11:11; Proverbs 11:25; 1 Peter 2:9; Mathew 28:19- 20; James 1;17; James 2: 14-17.

Leader Bio:
Pastor Daniel Rolfe is the Senior Pastor at Mountain Springs Church. Daniel joined the staff team of Mountain Springs Church in the late 90’s, initially as the youth pastor. He has particular passion for the role of the local church in society, collaborative leadership in teams, and for teaching God’s word in a real and lively way. Daniel invests his life at Mountain Springs in following God’s kindness and serves with an authenticity and example that resets some of the unbiblical burdens that have been placed on people. Daniel cares deeply for people and their unique and redeemable stories.
Born in 1975 in Suffolk, England, Daniel grew up in a small farming community bordering RAF Mildenhall. As a young man, he had a dramatic salvation encounter at Spring Harvest in central England and just a few years later, he responded with his wife, Laurie, to the equally dramatic call of God on their lives to leave England and pursue a calling in the local church overseas. He lived with his young family in Kelowna, B.C., Canada for one year, shadowing and learning from the Senior Pastor of a megachurch, before moving to Colorado Springs in the fall of 1998.
Pastor Daniel and Laurie live in the Black Forest. If they are not neck-deep pouring their hearts into one their seven kids, you’ll find them working out together or having a date at a local coffee shop.

Under 12s:
The Grove (birth – 3 years old)
The goal of this area is to create an environment of nurturing and love. The children who attend “The Grove” will be given the opportunity to hear God’s Word through picture stories from the Old and New Testaments. We reinforce God’s love through fun worship and interactive play with other children.
The Backyard (4 years – 1st grade)
The goal of “The Backyard” is to give children a life-long impression of the heart of God and what He has designed for their future. We join together as a large group to engage in worship and give each child the opportunity to learn about the Bible through stories from the Old and New Testaments, brought to life by storytelling and skits. We then create community through small group activities and age appropriate responses.
The Tree House (2nd – 4th grade)
The “Tree House” is an environment designed to build faith community and grow in relationship with God. As we worship together in a high energy environment, we look to encounter God’s presence. As we are taught from God’s Word through storytelling, we challenge the kids to hear God’s voice. In our small group times, we look to engage in games, activities, and discussions that challenge us to be a part of the Big God Story.
Propel (5th – 6th grade)
Propel is a ministry designed to push or “propel” this group of students into the next chapter of life. We want to bridge the gap between childhood and becoming a teenager. At this age, there is a lot of change happening and even uncertainty surrounding personal identity. We look to reinforce each child to KNOW who they are in Christ. In this environment, we teach God’s Word, dig deep into God’s Presence, share life in small groups / activities, and challenge the students to be missional as they walk through life each day.

Under 18s:
Elevate is our Student Ministry at Mountain Springs Church. We are a welcoming community of 7th-12th grade students desiring to grow closer to the Creator of the Universe. We believe wholeheartedly that this Creator loves us unconditionally, and sent His Son to this earth to die for us so we could be in relationship with Him, but that He is also living and active in our lives today. For this reason, we meet on Wednesday nights as a group in expectancy to encounter this God.
Our mission is simple: Love God. Love People. Elevate the City.
We achieve this mission on Wednesday nights by having dinner, worship through live music, an engaging message geared specifically for students, and genuine relationship through small groups.
The beautiful thing about our group is this: You don’t have to believe anything that we believe- You still BELONG here. You are absolutely loved and valued by our students and leaders.
Can’t wait to meet you!
Meeting Times
Wednesday Nights - Doors open at 5:30- Dinner is served from 5:30-6:10 and is $3 – Pickup begins at 8:30 pm.
