Who we are
New Creation in Christ is a diverse congregation centered in Christ who provides a loving environment where each person is valued and nurtured to the glory of God.
We seek to honor God by valuing each of his sons and daughters regardless of age, gender, race, education, talents, abilities, health, economic condition or social standing. In such a loving, Christ-centered atmosphere each individual is encouraged to become everything our loving Father intended. We demonstrate the love of Jesus in meaningful ways as we make disciples who make disciples.
New Creation in Christ believes we are called by God to strengthen and nurture family relationships across every generation and to reach out to the helpless and homeless with the good news of acceptance and inclusion in the life of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. We seek to model an authentic community of Spirit-empowered grace in sharing the love of Jesus in tangible ways with the resources the Father provides to us individually and collectively.
It is our hope that our involvement as a chapter of the Office of Reconciliation and Mediation will enable us to be a catalyst for reconciliation and renewal within the Christian church and to bring racial healing within the greater St. Louis community. In light of events in and around Ferguson since August 9, 2014, it is our fervent desire for the Lord to open a door in Ferguson or Florissant for us to worship and to minister healing to individuals and people groups in those communities. We are now meeting at 10091 West Florissant Avenue at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Our Mission: New Creation in Christ exists to win others to Jesus, to build them into mature Christians, to equip them to become disciples who make disciples and to multiply Christian leaders.

Karl Reinagel was born in Buffalo, NY, and was the second oldest of seven children—four boys and three girls. As a child of divorce he moved to Tennessee at age 15 where he lived for five years becoming part of a blended family. He began studying accounting at the University of Tennessee—Knoxville before moving to Southern California to attend Bible college where he met the love of his life, Carla. Shortly after graduation they were married and now have two adult sons and a daughter. Karl worked at the Church’s Mail Processing Center and Church Administration from 1982 through 1996. He began pastoral ministry in 1996 shepherding churches in Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska before moving to St. Louis where he has served as senior pastor since 2002.
Pastor Karl enjoys growing on the job. "I would rather train twenty men to pray, than a thousand to preach; A minister's highest mission ought to be to teach his people to pray."
