Pastor Moise and his wife, Malynda, have been youth group leaders at NDBC since 2018. He now serves as the lead pastor of New Dorp Baptist Church.
Moise grew up in Brooklyn and attended New York University. After graduating, he founded the non-profit, Little Stem, which advocates for quality learning experiences that motivate children toreach their full academic potential.
Moise has served faithfully in the ministry and his motto is “Saved to Serve”.
Moise and Malynda have two young children.

Kindergarten through Fifth grade meets every Wednesday evening from

This is a great time of fun and Christian fellowship. The children learn through Bible stories and skits, sing songs, play games, and have snacks. This is part of our family night each Wednesday at our Staten Island church.
In August we have a week of Vacation Bible School. This is an exciting fun filled week of music, skits, Bible stories, games, crafts and refreshments. It is free and is designed for ages 3 – 12.
NEW DORP CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
New Dorp Christian Academy (NDCA) is a fully accredited school. We have nursery school classes for 3 and 4 year olds. In addition, we offer Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.
Our emphasis is on Spiritual and Academic excellence. For more information please call (718) 351-4442.

This is a great opportunity for them to meet other Christian teens as well as participate in Bible study and have fun playing games.

The youth group meets every other week on a Friday evening at church for a time of just fun, playing basketball, video games, hanging out and refreshments.
CAMPS
Every February grades 7 through 12 have the opportunity to go to Snow Camp at Word of Life in Schroon Lake, NY. This is an awesome weekend of tubing, horseback riding, ice skating, ice chute, sled races and all kinds of snow activities as well as indoor sports like basketball, volleyball, dodge ball and carpet ball. It is also a time of spiritually growth.
Every July youth from many Baptist churches in NYC FROM grades 3 through 12 have the chance to go to Word of Life Summer Camp in School Lake New York. Grades 6 and under go to the Word of Life Ranch and Grades 7 – 12 go to the Word of Life Island (The Rock). At these camps the kids get to swim, compete in competitions, play sports, paintball, tubing and all kinds of other activities. The children are also taught Biblical principles thought exciting chapels, skits, music, cabin devotions and personal quiet times.

– Initial meetings were held in homes in the New Dorp area, exploring the possibility of planting a church –
September 1902 – Storefront services were held on Sunday evenings –
April 1904 – Sunday School was begun –
April 9, 1905 – New Dorp Baptist Church founded with twelve original members, with the following Resolution – Resolved, that, guided as we believe by the Holy Spirit, and relying on the blessing of God, we do, here and now, by this Act, constitute ourselves a Church of Jesus Christ to perform His service, and to be governed by His will, as revealed in the New Testament.”
July 1907 – New Dorp Baptist Church incorporated –
September 1916 – Church Covenant adopted –
December 1918 – Due to the effects of World War 1, services are temporarily discontinued –
April 1919 – Services continued, considerable growth ensues –
