Who we are

Our Mission

To know God and make Him known by believing, living and proclaiming the Gospel.

Our Vision

To encourage meaningful, God glorifying & Christ centered worship that would be theologically sound, spiritually fulfilling and result in intimacy with the Almighty. To seek and follow the Lord in raising up a congregation at OakStone Community Church to reflect the great diversity of ages and gifts that are present in the body of Christ. To be of one accord as we glorify God through the power of the Holy Spirit, by our reconciliation to God the Father through the death of His Son Jesus Christ and His blood that was shed for the remission of our sins.

To equip the saints at OakStone Community Church in Biblical truths and the application of those truths for the purpose of discipling each other as well as being an unwavering witness to the Grace of God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world & its value system that surrounds us every day.

To impact the neighborhood that surrounds OakStone Community Church in a way that would cause a revival in the neighborhood by an outpouring of serving our neighbors in love by OakStone Community Church. To prepare the congregation at OakStone Community Church, through sound Biblical teaching and by example, to go forth and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a world that has become increasingly unaware of its spiritual condition through a denial of morals & cultural assimilation.

OakStone Community Church History

OakStone Community Church was founded in February, 2009.

Pastor Bill Wolter, as a former pastoral staff member of a local church in the valley, knowing that God had called and ordained him into ministry to serve Him, desired to continue to minister to the body of Christ in the Temecula/Lake Elsinore/Murrieta Valley.

The Lord, in His perfect timing, brought Bill a vision to serve Him. God, in calling and equipping Bill in unique and different ways opened the door and created OakStone Community Church.

OakStone Community Church is an independent, non denominational assembly of believers in Jesus Christ.

The purpose of OakStone Community Church is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-40) of Jesus Christ. OakStone Community Church shall endeavor to do so through the worship of God, the sharing of the gospel with all peoples, the instruction and edification of Christians, the expression of the Christian faith through varied means and the expression of biblical concern for those in need.
