We’re so glad you stopped by and we hope that you’ll be able to meet us in person soon. No matter what you’re currently experiencing in your life, we want you to know that God loves you and has a plan for you! When everything may be falling apart, when you feel totally alone in the universe, Jesus is right there in the center of it all, offering personal peace and hope. Allow Him into your life, and you’ll be amazed at the transformation He’ll make! If you’re looking for a home church or a church home, we’d love to welcome you into ours.

Oldham church is a 80+ member multi-cultural Seventh-day Adventist Church located in Oldham. United Kingdom. Established many years ago, we are a Christian congregation that is preparing the world for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We really believe that Jesus is coming again and we are therefore seriously focused on preparing disciples for His return. We advocate strong participation in any of our ministries, daily communion with God and exhibiting the fruits of the spirit in our daily life.

Our view of multicultural ministry recognizes and respects the inclusion of all diverse groups. If you happen to walk into our Sabbath school bible study on Saturday mornings, you will see and hear a variety of accents and notice different hues of believers teaching and discussing the word of God. Not only are we multicultural, we are global. Our Oldham based congregation is part of a 15 million ethnically diverse world church located in nearly every country on the globe. We welcome you to worship with us at our church and experience the joy of communion with God.

Oldham Seventh-day Adventist Church Q&A

Question: What can I expect in Oldham church?

Answer: We meet on the Sabbath (Saturday) together for a church service. In addition, we also hold other events where we fellowship with one another. Our services and activities are open to the public - you are very welcome.

Question: Can I come, even if I have doubts?

Answer: Of course. Anyone can come, whether atheist, agnostic or skeptic. No matter where you are in your personal life or what is on your mind, you are always welcome here. We believe that our lives can change for the better when we get to know God personally. This does not necessarily have to happen by going to church, but we want to create opportunities to get to know God and the message of the Bible through our offers.

Question: Why do you meet regularly?

Answer: Having community is essential for a church. We meet to strengthen each other in our faith and to be there for others. There is great power in learning more about God's love together. At the same time, we can use this time to come before God in worship and thanksgiving. He is the most important constant in our daily lives and helps us with all our questions and concerns. If we choose Him, our lives will leave a lasting mark on the lives of others.

Question: What is Potluck?

Answer: The best conversations take place over good food. That's why we occasionally eat together after the service so that we can spend time together. So that no one has to prepare everything, everyone simply brings something that is enough for more than one person. You are cordially invited to eat, even if you haven't brought anything!

Question: What exactly is the Sabbath?

Answer: The Sabbath (Saturday) is the seventh day of the week, according to the biblical account. It is a day of rest instituted by God. As Seventh-day Adventists, we understand the Sabbath as a gift from God to humanity, representing the pinnacle of creation. For us, the Sabbath is a day of encountering and fellowshipping with God and our fellow human beings. On this day, we consciously leave the rest of the week behind us.

Question: Are you a Sect?

Answer: No, we are a Protestant free church that originated in the USA in the 19th century. Our name refers to the fact that as “Seventh-day Adventists” we believe in the imminent return of Jesus to this earth and celebrate the seventh day of the week, the Sabbath, as God's appointed day of rest.
