Holy Communion
A quiet, reflective, said, Holy Communion service held in the historic Derby (Chapel) within the church.
Every second third fourth and fifth Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour
Informal Worship
The 9.45 Service is an informal modern service for those seeking to find fresh ways to worship. The service leaders adopt a friendly, relaxed approach thar enables the congregation of all ages to learn and develop spiritually.
With Holy Communion on 4th Sunday in month.
Every Sunday at 9:45 AM for 1 hour
Traditional Worship
Services of Morning Prayer, Holy Communion or Baptism following the modern prayer book (Common Worship) order of service includes music led by a very talented organist and small choir. There is an appropriate booklet for each person present, enabling all to join in. Readings and prayers are led by members of the congregation. The hymns and songs come from the most comprehensive collection available (Complete Anglican Hymns Old and New). There is also a challenging address and much to think about throughout the whole service. Good provision is made during the address for children. During the whole Baptism Service there are excellent facilities for children.
Holy Communion on 1st and 3rd Sundays in the month
Every Sunday at 11:15 AM for 1 hour
Evening Service
In the Derby (Chapel), from Easter to Harvest and in New Church House for the winter, an informal, but ordered service of Evening Prayer and twice a month Holy Communion follows the modern prayer book (Common Worship). All can participate. Those present sit in the round and the music, accompanied by the piano, includes a real variety of old and new hymns. The address is always throughtful and very direct in this 'in the round' seating arrangement.
