Portage Avenue Church is a group of people from a variety of backgrounds and ages gather to worship God and help one another become the people He wants us to be.
We are:
a community of believers emphasizing personal salvation through Jesus Christ and discipleship for each of our members.
a bible believing church encouraging its members to study and grow in their knowledge of the Bible and to live according to its teachings.
a community of believers believing in the importance of joining a church for mutual accountability and the practice of love and good deeds.
a church with a mission deliberately pursuing ways to share the good news of Jesus Christ in our neighbourhoods as well as in a global setting.
