Who we are
Our four word mission statement embraces Jesus' teaching:
Love God and Bless People
Jesus distilled the entire Old Testament into a few words: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (Matt. 22:37-40 NIV)
Jesus also directed us to: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matt. 28:19-20 NIV) We uphold the priority of personal and public worship. We are training new leaders and preparing teams of people for ministry. We plan to multiply the number of places where Jesus is proclaimed by launching new sites into every community within our reach.

Pastor Ken founded Prince of Peace Church in 1991 along with support from his wife Shelley and many friends and family. At the time Ken was teaching at Madison Middle School. His greatest goal is to raise up other godly leaders.

"Yes, Lord! Jesus, I give all of this to you. Jesus," I just started out a dream for my neighbourhood. "I didn't ask you to make me a messenger to the world. I just wanted to love my neighbours. But Jesus, here it is. Here's my future, here's my loneliness, here are all the pressures, here are the criticism", and I gave Him everything. And I told Him to take me again and I would try to make "Yes, Lord" the continuing motto of my life..
