Our Vision To become a dynamic, vibrant, spirit-filled, spirit-led church; where people are loved, forgiven and accepted. We strive to be a multicultural church impacting and reaching thousands in our community and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We Believe The Church of God of Prophecy beliefs are based on the whole Bible rightly divided. There is one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, the physical miracles He performed, His atoning death upon the Cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory at His second coming. We profess hat regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of sinful mankind. The church teaches the belief that the sinner is brought to an awareness of the need for salvation through the convicting work of the Holy Spirit. It teaches the belief that in sanctification by the blood of Christ, one is made holy. It affirms the present, active ministry of the Holy Spirit who guides the Church and by whose indwelling and empowerment that individuals are able to live godly lives and render effective service to God and others.

Leader Bio:
I am elated and humbled to be mentioned among the Redeemed. I am thankful for the opportunity to Shepherd God’s children. Though the responsibilities are laborious, I am honored to serve and would choose no other path.
I hold dear to my heart the Great Commission as stated in Matt. 28 vs. 19 “Go ye therefore and teach all nations (make disciples of all nations) baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Ghost”. It is therefore with felicity, that I find the vineyard a place most comfortable. It is the place where discipleship takes flight and transformation takes on a new meaning.
I am governed by God’s Words and as a result, I endeavor to live a life of unimpeachable rectitude according to God's Word, and that which the Holy Spirit has deposited in me through Jesus Christ. In everything I do, I believe in being veracious, to Honor and Glorify my God.
There are many accolades that adorn my name but the one I am most proud of, is that of a servant. May God richly Bless you.

“Soaring To New Heights”
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles: they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk; and not faint. Isaiah 40-:31

Redeemed Christian Fellowship Church of God of Prophecy History
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek he hath sent to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound "Isaiah 61:1
It was October 1992 that Kenrick McBean was led of the Lord to start a mission in the city of Poughkeepsie for the sole purpose of winning the lost to Christ. Desiring to be in the will of the Lord, several prayer meetings were conducted seeking God for divine guidance. The 1st of these prayer meetings were held in the home of Bro. and Sis. Ferrell Grant. As the meetings grew, each attendee became inspired and motivated by the vision. It became evident that a central place was needed and 10 Winnikee was rented. The late Sister Zina Scott provided the funds to secure the place with the 1st month rent.
Shortly after the Church was established with 15 members and our 1st Sunday School had 15 students. Truly, the people had a mind to work and Pastor McBean can join with the apostle Paul and declare " I was obedient to the heavenly calling". However, we were not without great challenges to set backs. In December 1993 our place of worship was flooded. We had no place to call home to the ministry. One member called to report the damage that night to the Pastor and exclaimed "Pastor we have no more church" But what was meant for evil was quickly turned around for the good of the ministry because about three doors down at 2 Winnikee Avenue, we were given the opportunity to use it although it appears uninhabitable but with the eyes of faith the place was not seen for what it was but rather what it could be. The place was totally cleaned up and ready for worship without missing a single Sunday. Truly God is faithful.
As the church began to grow it became obvious that a larger facility was of necessity and shortly after in 1995, we were able to purchase a building with a seating capacity of 250-300 at 164 South Cherry Street. Everything that was needed for the ministry was provided. Our people had a mind to work, their faithfulness was demonstrated in just 5 years. In 2000, we were able to burn the mortgage and purchase two vans for the ministry. Each Sunday our sanctuary was filled to its capacity and once again it became evident that we needed yet a larger facility. The real estate market had escalated and finding property suitable for the purpose we needed was somewhat challenging. Pastor McBean was armed with a vision to grow and a determination to please God rather than man. The church prayed God showed favor.
The opportunity presented itself to purchase a larger building. We believed the same God who provided in the past was able to prove faithfulness to us once again. With much enthusiasm we decided to move ahead not focusing on the size of the mountain but the strength of our God. As we endeavored to move ahead to purchase the 1st Presbyterian Church, we were determined to follow the hand of the Lord. During these challenging times God provided Deacons in the ministry who were very supportive and stood with the pastor, namely Deacon Clement James, Fernando Morrison, Wayne Bell, and George Gordon. On December 8, 2008 we closed on this beautiful building. To God be the glory!

Come Lord Jesus!
Lord Jesus, master of both the light and the darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas. We who have so much to do seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day. We who are anxious over many things look forward to your coming among us. We who are blessed in so many ways long for the complete joy of your kingdom. We whose hearts are heavy seek the joy of your presence. We are your people, walking in darkness, yet seeking the light. To you we say, "Come Lord Jesus!"
