Resurrection Anglican Church History
Resurrection Anglican Church has been through a continous process of evolution since its inception over thirty years ago. What began in 1984 as a highly-traditional congregation worshiping in King James English and using a liturgy from the 1920's has slowly grown into a vibrant contemporary family of faith.
The original group of Anglicans who founded Resurrection worshiped in a variety of rented properties until they settled into the current building in 1996. Reflecting the changing face of the conservative Anglican realignment, Resurrection has been under the jurisdiction of several branches of the Anglican faith. Previous senior pastors included The Rev. Michael Carr (UEC) and The Rev. Greg Mashburn (REC).
Fr. Frank Gough arrived in 2010, and in 2013, the congregation transitioned into its current jurisdiction under the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).
At Resurrection, we celebrate the richness of our historic faith, as we keep our hearts centered on Christ. Our first priority is making the Gospel accessible as we reach out in love to the surrounding community.

I want to know Thee
Father, I want to know Thee, but my coward heart fears to give up its toys. I cannot part with them without inward bleeding, and I do not try to hide from Thee the terror of the parting. I come trembling, but I do come. Please root from my heart all those things which I have cherished so long and which have become a very part of my living self, so that Thou mayest enter and dwell there without a rival. Then shalt Thou make the place of Thy feet glorious. Then shall my heart have no need of the sun to shine in it, for Thyself wilt be the light of it, and there shall be no night there. In Jesus Name, Amen.
