River City Church History
In 2009, the First Presbyterian Church of DeBary burned to the ground.
But the Lord, in His mercy, actually started two fires in our church. One fire tragically burned our building down. But the second fire that God started in our church was a burning desire to be a biblically faithful, Gospel-centered church.
So we like to say “God started two fires: one to burn our building, but a second fire to revitalize our church.”
Since then, we have joined with like-minded Presbyterian churches throughout the United States & world who are committed to the inerrant Word of God and the preaching of the gospel of grace through the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
We are humbled by God’s grace to us and even more committed than ever to our mission:
to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and serve the Kingdom.
