Welcome to River Vale Community Church! We hope you’ll find this to be a place where you can get to know more about us and what we’re doing both locally and around the world. At the heart of gospel-centered worship is the belief that we come to church not because we have our acts together, but precisely because we don't. Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the 'righteous' but the sinners to repentance." (Mark 2:17) Everything from our music to our teaching centers on the reality that no matter where we've been or what we've done, by His grace we are invited to enter into the life-giving presence of God. Our music is a mix of classic and modern hymns and choruses all done with a contemporary feel. Through expository preaching our messages aim to draw gospel themes from the Bible and apply them to everyday life situations. COVID - 19 UPDATES
IN PERSON SERVICES
We are open for people to join us at the church building for our Sunday Worship Services. We've redesigned our gathering experience to keep everyone as safe as possible. Our sanctuary capacity has been adjusted to accommodate physical distancing as well as spaced out seating.
Hand sanitizer stations are available at key entry points for ease of access.
Due to the need for no contact, the bulletin is now electronic and sent Fridays as the weekly email.
There will be no offering collected during service, however an offering box will be in the front lobby entrance into the sanctuary.
Masks are necessary, and extra masks will be onsite and available if needed.
We're discouraging handshakes and hugs, but encouraging waves and smiles!
Coffee will not be served.
Restrooms and entry points have been equipped with sanitizing wipes and disinfecting spray.
The nursery and children's ministry areas have re-opened! Children are to remain with their family during worship service until dismissed from service to the lower level Sunday School room.
ONLINE SERVICES
River Vale Online is here to stay! If you've been joining us from outside the River Vale area, or if you are unable to attend physically for any reason-perhaps you're not feeling well, or you are at a higher risk for infection, or maybe you're just not ready to re-gather in person-you can make River Vale Online (RVO) your church home!
We'd love for you to be on mission with us at River Vale Online in these ways:

Host a watch party in your neighborhood
Keep connected and check your email, our website and Facebook pages for updates and further details to come! Plans are subject to change, depending on how the CDC changes its guidelines and how local officials guide or direct us. We will be following their guidance.
