Saguenay Seventh-day Adventist Company History
L’Église adventiste du septième jour a été organisée officiellement en 1863 à Battle Creek, Michigan, aux États-Unis. « Adventiste du septième jour » signifie deux choses. » Adventiste » signifie que nous croyons au retour de Jésus (son avènement). « Septième jour » signifie que nous mettons à part le septième jour de la semaine comme jour de repos et d’adoration envers Dieu.
En plus de fonder des assemblées locales autour du monde, l’Église adventiste s’est intéressée dès le début son histoire aux publications, à la santé, à l’éducation et aux missions. Au début du nouveau millénaire, nous avions plus de dix millions de membres un peu partout dans le monde et de puis, toutes les 35 secondes, une nouvelle personne se joint à l’Église adventiste.
