Leader Bio:
I was born in Seoul, South Korea. My parents were Methodist, so I naturally adapted myself to Christianity. I personally met God when I was 17. The God of love I experienced is almost indescribable in the human sense. In March of 1995 I began studying at Mokwon University Theolgical School in South Korea. I am a graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary in Washingtotn, DC.
I met my wife, Jenny, when I was 15. We were married in December 2003. Now I am the father of two daughters, Emily and Abigail.
I previously had the privilege of serving two faithful communities of God. I was the pastor of Brucetown UMC in the Winchester District and an associate pastor of the Korean United Methodist Church of Greater Washington.

Saint Peter's United Methodist Church History
St. Peter’s Church traces its earliest history to congregations and class meetings which met on sites between Mountain Road on the south and Old Ridge Road (near the Ashland Berry Farm) on the north. Few records remain of these 18th and early 19th century Methodists. In the 1780s, Bishop Francis Asbury established what many historians believe to have been the first Sunday School in America, in the home of Thomas Crenshaw, on Mountain Road not far from the present site of St. Peter’s.
In 1850, remnants of the earlier congregations moved to property on Route 611 (now St. Peter’s Church Road), a scant ½ mile south of the present church. At first the congregation worshipped in an arbor of trees; Peter Massie, a charter member and trustee, built a white frame church by 1852. After its completion, the church was named St. Peter’s, partly for the fisherman-disciple and partly for the man who helped establish the congregation.

You are...
You are the shade in the heat, You are shelter in the cold, You are eyes to the blind, You are a staff to the pilgrim, You are an island in the sea, You are a stronghold upon land, You are healing to the sick. You are the luck of every joy, You are the light of the sun's beam, You are the door of lordly welcome, You are the pole star of guidance, You are the step of the roe of the height, You are the step of the white-faced mare, You are the grace of the swimming swan, You are the jewel in each mystery.
