Who we are
Nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Smoky Mountains, in the heart of Sevierville, we are easily accessible and close to all of the exciting things Sevier County has to offer.
Our mission is to be a caring family, saved by grace and inspired to serve the living God through teaching, preaching, caring, and sharing, so that the world may know Christ. We are fulfilling this mission in a variety of ways. Through our Traditional Worship Services:
We have rich traditional worship at 8:30 and 10:45. We use acolytes, have a chancel choir, hand bell choir and four Children’s Choirs. We have communion on the first Sunday of every month and celebrate the various special days in the Christian Year. The services are Christ centered and the sermons are Biblically based. Through Contemporary Worship:
We have a 10:45 service called Crossroads. It is at the same time as the traditional service in our Great Hall. It is an informal service that is very welcoming and inviting. We have very skilled musicians in the praise band and singers in this service. The service is Christ centered and the sermons are Biblically based. Through our Hispanic Ministry:
The El Ministerio del Espirito Santo Church is part of our congregation and is led by Rev. Susana Lopez. They worship on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 7:30. The services are energetic, Spirit Filled and Christ centered. Susana’s sermons are Biblically based.
Through our various Sunday School Classes:
We have a Sunday School class for everyone. Our classes are full of rich fellowship, Biblical studies and group discussion.
Through our Youth Ministries:
We have a very active youth ministry, The Youth meet every Sunday evening and Wednesday evening. They go on several outings during the year and on two mission trips each year, one for the Middle School students and one for High School students. Through our Children’s Ministry:
We have Sunday school classes for all children. During the school year we have a Wednesday Night program filled with Children’s Choirs and Bible Studies for the children, and a wonderful meal at 5:00. Through our Various Programs and Ministries:
We are actively involved in various mission projects. We have Bible studies such as The Bethel series, and short term in home Bible studies during the week in the fall and Winter. We have the United Methodist Women, The United Methodist Men, 55 and Rising, Prayer Shawl Ministry, and a variety of ministries where you can get involved and make a difference.
Join us each week as we worship, grow in our faith and seek to make a temporal and eternal difference in people’s lives.

Important Announcement Regarding Coronavirus Safety
Bishop Dindy Taylor has communicated to us the following statement,
"Out of an abundance of caution and our concern for you, our churches, and communities, the Cabinet and I strongly urge the churches of Holston Conference to suspend worship and large-group gatherings beginning today for the next two weeks." Starting tomorrow, Friday 13th, 2020 we will be heeding this counsel. There will be no public meetings, small groups, meals, worship services, or Youth or children's activities including Child Care Ministries through Friday March 27th, 2020. Pastor Jeff and Pastor David will be working on a plan to record sermons to put on Facebook and our web page on Sunday. Also, don't forget that you can still give financially to our church here online or mail a check to our office that will remain open for normal business hours at this time. Please take care of yourselves and stay healthy in this time of caution. We will update you as we learn more in the days to come. God bless!
