Who we are
We are a small, growing, friendly Baptist Church based in Shotgate, Wickford.
We seek to share the good news of Jesus Christ, and show God's love in the community.
We organise many different activities to welcome visitors to the church and create opportunities to get to know those living in the area around us.
We meet weekly on Sunday mornings to worship God together, learn from God's word, and share in fellowship and friendship over a cup of tea after the service. We welcome people of all ages and all walks of life, no church background necessary - so why don't you come along or get in touch?

For all children, every Sunday during the morning service.
We use this time to learn more about God in a fun environment through reading, singing, games and crafts.

Youth Club - 'The Sanctuary'
3rd Sunday of every month. 7.00 - 8.00pm
Open to all our local children aged 11 - 14 years.
The children get together for games and a chat, with occasional group outings.

The Over 50's Lunch group meets at the church on the last Monday of each month, from 12.30 - 2.00.
We have a lunch together, catch up with friends, and then have a short talk or story with a Christian message.

Café is held at the church two mornings a week - Monday and Friday, and is an opportunity to meet new people and chat in a relaxed, informal environment.
We welcome people of any age, so come along and see what we're about!
