Who we are
Welcome
We exist to connect people to God, Others, and the World.
At South Parkersburg Baptist Church, we have a place for you to connect no matter what your background is. Whether you’re a single professional who loves contemporary worship or an empty-nester who prefers a more traditional style, you’ll find a worship service that fits you! But it won’t take you long to discover that we’re about much more than just Sunday morning services. Here, you’ll find so many ways to connect!
Connect Soon!
Visit us this Sunday! We can help you explore firsthand the many ways that you can plug into our fellowship. You will find us worshiping at three different West Virginia locations: Parkersburg, Ravenswood, and Point Pleasant. In the meantime, please take some time to explore this website and learn more about getting connected with God and with us. The information you see here applies to our Parkersburg campus unless otherwise indicated.
We offer two distinctive Sunday worship styles. During each service, the Pastor will share a relevant message full of life-steps designed to grow you in your faith and a worship style that will fit your preference.
Our Standard Worship Service at 9:00am (Parkersburg) offers hymn-based worship led by our choir and worship pastor.
Our Progressive Worship Service at 10:30 am (All Campuses) offers contemporary praise songs led by worship pastor and a praise team.
Can’t make it on a Sunday? Check out what we offer during the midweek.
Connect Often!
We have abundant opportunities to connect with others in fellowship and ministry throughout the week. No matter where you are in life, you’ll find believers who welcome you to journey with them while connecting to God, Growth, and Ministry. Check out our ministries for people of all ages!
