Pastor Ryan was born in Indianapolis, IN, and spent many years moving around the U.S. living in six different states during his life. He was the son of a pastor and dedicated his life to Jesus at a very young age, while also learning some of what it means to be a pastor and a part of the pastoral family.
When he graduated from Lima Christian School in 2006, he traveled to Taylor University in Upland, IN where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Literature in 2010. From there he went on to Asbury Theological seminary and graduated with his Master of Divinity in 2013. While all of his educational experiences lent themselves to pastoral ministry, he did not receive the traditional call that many others have. He never heard the audible voice of God or saw a beam of light shine down from heaven. However, every time he tried to go in another direction, something always pulled him back to the pastorate. He felt that he could not escape what God had called him to do.
In the summer of 2013 he moved to Watertown, NY where he served as the solo pastor of Grace Wesleyan Church. While serving there, he was ordained as a minister in the Wesleyan Church in October of 2014. After resigning from Grace, he received the call to Spencerport Wesleyan Church, where he continues to serve the Lord and seek his will.
Pastor Ryan enjoys varying hobbies including anything related to Batman or Star Trek, watching and reading about NFL football, and spending time with family, particularly his wife.
He and his lovely wife Alison, who have been married since February 2016, love their church family and enjoy any opportunity to meet new people in and out of the church. They would love to meet you and welcome you as a part of the church family.

We offer several options for Sunday School for your children.
Nursery – newborn to 18 months
Toddlers – 18 – 36 months
Pre-School (3 to 5 year olds)
Elementary (grades K-5)
Pre-School through 5th grade classes participate in a 20 minute “Big Group” session with all the children doing music and drama relating to the lesson of the day. The last half is a “Small Group” study where students are divided by grade level for age-appropriate lessons and activities.
