St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church History
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (Fort Coulonge, Quebec) was formed in 1856 and the congregation met at the home of the Bryson family. In 1863, the first church building was completed. The first inducted minister was the Rev. Joseph Gandier. A stone church was completed in February of 1891. St. Andrew’s was a self sustaining congregation from 1875 to 1975. Since that date it has be united with Bristol Memorial Presbyterian Church as a two point charge.
