Who we are
Dear Friends in Christ,Thank you for visiting St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Bainbridge Island, Washington online.
We are a diverse and vibrant faith community celebrating over 60 years of ministry to and with the people of Bainbridge Island. Our children, youth and adults have a passion for worship, outreach, fellowship and Christian formation, and our doors are open to all people, no matter where you are on your journey of faith. We invite you to visit us on Sunday morning. You will find that through the Holy Eucharist you are included in the fellowship of God’s family. We believe that God has called us to be “…reaching out through prayer, worship, and action to bring the peace of Christ to one another and this world” that is frequently overwhelmed with despair and loneliness. As members of this faith-filled congregation, we encourage you to share with us in worship and ministry. Among other things, on this website you can click to find our worship times and directions to the church. You can learn about upcoming events and our ministries as well as email members of our parish staff.
It is our prayer that you will accept an invitation to worship and explore our faith together as inclusive Christians.

Learn to know Christ
Learn to know Christ and him crucified. Learn to sing to him, and say, Lord Jesus, you are my righteousness, I am your sin. You have taken upon yourself what is mine and given me what is yours. You have become what you were not so that I might become what I was not.
