Who we are
WELCOME
Whether you have been a Christian for a long time, or have never stepped foot inside a church, you will find a warm welcome here at St Christopher's. OUR VISION
To GROW in our knowledge and love of God, SERVE those around us for the glory of God, and GO out to share the good news of Jesus with the world.
WHO WE ARE
We are an evangelical Anglican church made up of people from all ages and all walks of life.
We believe that Jesus lived, died, and was raised to life so that we could find true and lasting life in him. Because Jesus now lives and reigns, we acknowledge him to be the Lord of all things, and look forward to the day when he will make all things new.
We believe that the Bible is God’s word to us and is the only sure foundation for our knowledge of who God is, and how we should live our lives. We believe that to be a follower of Jesus means being keen to hear him speak to us through the words of the Bible, and being willing to let those words shape all our thoughts and actions.
We hold to the historic Christian creeds and believe that the 39 Articles are a good summary of Christian doctrine.

Open our ears.
Blessed Lord, open our ears to hear what Thou speakest and our eyes to see as Thou seest. Give us hearts to beat in sympathy with Thine at the sight of every little child; and above all, our Lord, to understand and experience how surely and how blessedly Thou fulfilest Thy promise, "Whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me."
