Who we are
We are the Episcopal branch of the body of Christ, and a member of the world wide Anglican Communion. We are an inclusive fellowship with open doors for all to come to, and know, Jesus. The symbols of our patron saint, St. David, are the daffodil, dove, and leek. So, if you are happy, peaceful, or just a little pungent, we welcome you in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
St. David's is a remarkable small country parish with a long history within the community of Barneveld, NY, located in the Town of Trenton, NY. Our parish is geographically broad with young and elderly families alike. We welcome all: singles, ages, families, and families with children. Children may attend our service, or attend our Sunday School, provided during the service. We are also proud of our Pre-K School, which is unique for a church of our size.
The rich traditions of the Episcopal Church provides for many ways in which individuals can participate in the life of our parish. We welcome the opportunity to include people where they have an active interest. Our parish community includes Eucharistic ministers, readers for scripture, prayer, acolytes, vestry members, altar guild, Sunday School, stewardship, hosting social functions, and fundraisers. Some functions require training before being placed on a schedule, but information is always available through our priest or other members of the congregation.
Coffee Hour - After every Sunday service, we join one another in our parish hall for treats and conversation. Please join us. You'll have an opportunity to meet members of our parish and learn more about St. David's.

St. David's Episcopal Church Service Times
Worship is the heart of our life together, all the rest is for the purpose of making that possible, meaningful and uplifting and it is worship that equips us for living out our life in Christ in the world around us. - Rev. E. Heather Benson, Parish Priest.
We celebrate the Holy Eucharist, Sunday, at 10:00 a.m.
Holy Days of Obligation & other events at 5:00 p.m., or as scheduled.
All are welcome to worship with us and take communion.
We are a liturgical and sacramental faith. Our service includes singing - lead by our organist, prayers, readings, and liturgy from the Bible and The Book of Common Prayer. Service bulletins are provided as a guide to the order of service for hymns and liturgy.
An Invitation - If you are visiting for the first time and/or the Episcopal Church is a new experience, someone in our congregation will gladly sit with you and guide you through our service. We are casual in attendance. There is no need to wear a tie, unless you really want too. Unlike some restaurants, we will not cut off your tie and pin it to the wall.
It's been more than 6 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.
