The Short Service
We called it 'The Short Service' because it is short! - shorter than the average church service, and therefore more suitable for very young children. We hold it in St Edward's Church Hall on the third Sunday of every month (though sometimes we skip a month in holiday times). It starts at 10.00am and it's usually over by 10.40am, and there is a cup of coffee for those who can stay a bit longer for a chat. It's informal, but we hope it's an introduction to worship for those who are not regular churchgoers (adults as well as children!). It includes songs, a story, some kind of activity or chat, and prayers. . Come and join us!
Every third Sunday at 10:00 AM until Friday 1st December 2017 for 35 minutes
Â

We need passion
We need passion in our faith! Instead of praying, 'If I should die before I wake', we should pray, 'Lord wake me up before I die!'
