Who we are
St Giles Christian Mission is Bible believing church in Islington, North London. As a church, we’re passionate about the life-changing message that Jesus Christ is alive today. We’re committed to loving one another and sharing the good news about Jesus. You’re warmly invited to join us each Sunday as we meet together at 11:00am and 6:00pm.
Our vision
Our vision is the same as that of every Bible believing church throughout time and around the world. As those who have been saved by Jesus, we want to bring Him glory. Primarily, we do this through our life together as a church. We aim to demonstrate the love of Jesus through our love for each other (John 13:35). We gather together to sing His praises, offer Him our prayers, hear His Word, and care for one another. We also serve side by side to see Jesus worshipped both in North London and around the world.

Our morning service is the main time in the week when we gather to hear from God’s word, pray, and sing God’s praises. There is a children’s programme for those aged 0-11. Refreshments are served after the morning service.
Sunday evening services
6:00pm
Our evening service is largely a time of extended prayer for God’s work amongst us and around the world. We also sing God’s praises, and have a brief further reflection on the theme from the morning’s sermon.
The Lord’s supper
We share the Lord’s Supper on the 1st Sunday of every month during our morning service.

Under 12s:
Sunday School
We have a fantastic programme for kids on Sunday mornings for newborn children through school year 6. Children stay with their parents for the first part of the service and the speaker will make it clear when children can go to their classes.
Toddler group
Every Monday morning during term time we have our Toddler group, all children aged 0-4 and their parents/carers are welcome! We aim to provide a safe and happy environment for fun and friendship.

Ladies Sewing Club
All ladies are invited to meet for an informal sewing club at St Giles every Friday. The evenings include: informal sewing lessons, knitting, and other crafts.
Lunch Club
Open to all in the community, every Wednesday Lunch Club offers opportunities to meet others, enjoy lunch, and hear a short talk from the Bible. Try it for free, cost is £2.50 thereafter. (Doors open 11am, lunch served at 12:15pm)
