The Mission of Saint Isidore Catholic Church
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God." - Matthew 6:33
The parishioners of Saint Isidore Catholic Church invite you to help them in rebuilding Catholic traditions on the desert high plains of Colorado. Overlooking the city of Denver and the rugged Rocky Mountains, this Catholic church is a beacon for people searching for life in the "Mystical Body of Christ" as he established for His Church more than 2000 years ago.
Nestled near trails where pioneer wagons once rumbled into rich gold fields of the 19th century, this church offers the Tridentine Mass, also known as the Latin Mass of the Ages, as well as the centuries-old Gregorian Chant, youth and adult catechism classes on Sundays, and the sacrament of Confession before all Masses.
Saint Isidore's Catholic Church is one of the few chapels in Colorado where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated according to its ancient Traditional Catholic Liturgy.

St. Isidore Church History
In February of 1983, seven Catholics starving for the True Mass of all time gathered under the patronage of Our Lady Help of Christians on the back porch of the South Denver home of James and Delfinia Nason. There Fr. Hector Bolduc offered the first Mass of a new parish with an old, eternal Faith.
These first Masses were soon moved to a rented storefront converted into a chapel in Lakewood, Colorado. When the faithful outgrew this space in 1993, the parish moved to a small Chapel in Denver.
In 1999, as the chapel and its thriving K-12 school drew a greater and greater number of faithful, a generous offer of land and monetary donations allowed the mission in Colorado to build a beautiful Romanesque church in Watkins. This church was consecrated by Bishop Bernard Fellay on August 18, 2001.
