St John Service Times
Sunday
Eucharist with hymns
This is the main service at St John's each Sunday. The service is Common Worship Order 1 in contemporary language, The younger members of the community meet in the Church hall for the earlier part of the service. There is Sunday school for the younger members and 'The Edge' for those a little older. On the the first Sunday of the month we have a more informal Eucharist with our music group rather than the organ and more contribution from our younger members who are with the rest of us in church for the whole service.
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Sunday Evening Service
This is a service in the evening of the first Sunday in the month. The format varies but it is sometimes Evening Prayer (BCP rite) or Compline (Common Worship). We sing BCP evensong 4 times a year. On certain first Sundays during the year we hold 'special' services such as an All Souls remembrance service (November) and Reconciliation services at the start of Advent and during Lent.
Every first Sunday at 6:30 PM
Tuesday
Eucharist
Midweek Eucharist - a quiet reflective said act of worship.
Every first and third Tuesday at 7:00 PM for ½ hour
It's been more than 8 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

I am in Thy Presence
Help me, Lord, to remember that Christianity is not to be confined to the church ... nor exercised only in prayer and meditation, but that everywhere I am in Thy Presence.
