Who we are
Welcome to St. John's Episcopal Church in Franklin, Mass. We joyfully proclaim Christ Jesus as Lord and faithfully seek to serve and encourage all people in His Name. At St. John's we believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and is the source of guidance for our daily lives. Holy Eucharist, Rite II is celebrated on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am with our Sunday School program beginning at 10:15 am. Sunday school is in session from September through mid-June. New students are welcome to join throughout the academic year.
St. John's is a young and growing parish with an average of 116 congregants in attendance each week. Our vibrant Sunday School program is the heart and soul of the parish with more than 100 children ranging in age from preschool through middle school. If you like to get involved, we have 14 ministries to choose from and several seasonal events to enjoy--there's something for everyone. We are a welcoming church that believes in supporting our community from weekly donations to the Franklin Food Pantry to offering our church hall space for Girl Scouts, AA, Al-Anon, Yankee Quilters and Franklin Garden Club meetings.
