At St. John's Church for the Deaf, American Sign Language is the primary language in the service and all activities, though services are spoken as well for benefit of all. We exist to serve the entire Deaf community--including hard-of-hearing and late-deafened persons--in the diocese. We welcome visitors! Members of our church are active in many affairs in the Alabama Deaf community, taking leadership positions in several organizations.
St. John's and the ECD are working on setting up a livestream of the services. More on that as it develops.
Services are at 10 a.m. every Sunday. Monthly bulletin is available both on-line and by regular mail.

Grant us grace
0 Lord our God, grant us grace to desire Thee with our whole heart; that, so desiring, we may seek, and seeking find Thee; and so finding Thee may love Thee; and loving Thee, may hate those sins from which Thou hast redeemed us.
