St John the Evangelist Service Times
Toddler Service
We wanted to offer a 30-40 minute fun service intended particularly for pre-school aged children - whether baby, toddler or nursery aged. It has movement, different activities, hymns, action songs, noise, stories about Jesus, great refreshments at the end. For every family with young children! Every fifth Sunday at 1000am in the church.
Every fifth Sunday of the year we will have our fabulous toddler service! But we are going to have an extra one at Christmas - on the Sunday before Christmas. every fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 40 minutes

Sunday
Baptism / Christening Service
Usually once a month - on the first Sunday - we hold a baptism service. St John's is a popular church for christenings and we try to make it as guest friendly as possible, involving the family in choosing some of the music and what items we can pray for. Christening is about welcoming a child into the church family.
Occasionally we do not have a christening service if a special Christian event falls on that date, or we have another special service planned. But most first Sundays, we have a christening service.
Every first Sunday at 9:15 AM for 1 hour
Holy Communion
Some words to describe our worship? All are welcome - whether regular church member or not, whether living locally or not. We regularly use Anglican / Church of England liturgy. We would sing modern and traditional hymns supported by an organ and choir. The service involves a projector screen, hymn books and service booklets. For children, we have fun children's activities during the service. After our worship together, there are refreshments as we build friendships, catch up etc.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 9:15 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Family Service
This is a service intended for all ages. It is a service in development as we seek to make it a meaningful and helpful worship experience for all who come regardless of what age. It is led by one of our wardens and our reader.
Every third Sunday at 9:15 AM for 1 hour
