Leader Bio:
Born in Bucharest on 8 May 1976, I attended in the same town the high school at the Seminary of Orthodox Theology, then the Faculty of Orthodox Theology and the Masters, graduating in 2001. Since 2006 I follow the PhD courses at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Constanta.
Since September 2001, when I was ordained for the Archdiocese of Tomis, at the Cathedral of Constanta, I serve continuously in the Romanian Orthodox Church. I combined permanently the pedagogy and the ministry of the Church, teaching in 1997 the Orthodox Religion for a Secondary School in Bucharest, then in 2002 the French language for the Seminary of Orthodox Theology in Constanta, and in 2003 lecturing as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Constanta.
In July 2001, I married Andreea Morariu and we have two children.
The experience gained alongside the personalities of the Romanian Church theology, have materialized and continues to be visible through various articles and published books, such as “Ecclesiastical authority in the first Christian centuries,” BREN, Bucharest, 2007, and “Vocal study of the singing in the church service and its aesthetics “, BREN Publishing House, Bucharest 2007.
The results of the pastoral missionary activity are seen through the invaluable contribution of the concelebrating priest, Antonel Dumitru, and the members of the churches founded together: The Parish of ”Holy Forty Martyrs of Sebaste”, in Aurora, Ontario, where I served between August 2009 and March 2015, and The Parish of „Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel”, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, opened in March 2010. The fruitful pastoral ministry continues since March 2015, at the Parish of “Saint John the Evangelist” in Toronto, Ontario, under the oversight of his Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America.

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
