Who we are
St. Joseph Catholic Church was viable parish church before Hurricane Katrina hit Pearlington, MS in 2005. The church was completely wiped out. Since then the Church Hall was converted into a chapel with the appropriate ornamentation to hold Catholic Liturgy. Our congregation as well as the town of Pearlington has been cut in half. We have about 40 people at mass on Sunday now. Every Wednesday we have an hour of adoration at 9 am followed by mass at 10 am.
