Who we are
St. Mark's is a growing parish with three Sunday services and a large children's and youth program. Each service has a different "feel" from contemplative (7:45AM), to community and intergenerational (9 AM), to traditional Episcopal worship with organ and choir (11 AM). We just completed a new Fellowship Center, which serves as a community and worship space for the 9 AM service.
Founded 1849 by nearby St. James School, St. Marks' sits on a campus along Lappans Road in historic Washington County. Antietam Battlefield is only 5 miles south and the Moutains rise on both horizons. We host The Growing Tree preschool, regular Zumba Classes, and many other community activities.

We welcome seekers and encourage the exploration of the Bible and understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
We offer a variety of historical and contemporary Episcopal practices

We challenge each member to practice faith in daily life, to build community, share gifts and talents and reach out in love and concern for others
