St Nicholas Service Times
Garden Party
Annual Church Garden Party at the Church Hall, Hill Top, Baddesley Ensor, CV9 2BQ. Popular event for the whole village (not just Church members!). There are refreshments, stalls (plants, books, toys, bric-a-brac etc) and raffles.
Saturday 4th June 2016 at 1:30 PM for 2 hours
Sunday
Holy Communion
All are invited to the altar-rail; a blessing is offered to all who do not receive Holy Communion. There is a Sunday School (St. Nick's Kidz") in term-time only.
When there is a 5th Sunday in the month, we share Holy Communion with All Saints Grendon, alternating venues (Grendon at 11.15 am). Sunday School: term-time only.
Every first and third Sunday at 9:45 AM for 1 hour
All-Age Service
Informal service. Baptisms are usually arranged to take place in All-Age Services. Either our "All-Age Service" card, or our Baptism Service booklet, is used.
Normally the 2nd Sunday in the month; extra All-Age Services are held occasionally, where it fits the Church calendar.
Every second Sunday at 9:45 AM for ¾ hour
Morning Worship
Non-Communion service.
Occasionally replaced by a Baptism service.
Every fourth Sunday at 9:45 AM for 1 hour
Tuesday
Morning Prayer
Based on "Common Worship" although relatively informal; we normally meet in the choir-stalls. The service is led by the Vicar, with prayers being offered by any or all of those attending.
Every Tuesday at 9:00 AM for 25 minutes
Wednesday
"Stay, Play and Pray"
This takes place in the Church Hall next to St. Nicholas' Church. It is a joint venture between the Church, and Atherstone Early Years. It is popular and well-staffed. These regular events include a short Christian service.
Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM for 1½ hours
Thursday
Morning Prayer
Based on "Common Worship" although relatively informal; we normally meet in the choir-stalls. The service is led by the Vicar, with prayers being offered by any or all of those attending.
This service is at 9 a.m. during school holidays, 8 a.m. during term-time.
