Who we are
Welcome to our Parish
"By this everyone will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." - John 13.33
Our vision of faith is one of growing love and harmony combined with invitation to others. Guided by the Holy Spirit, this Parish wishes to appreciate our unique heritage and our multicultural base, using both to live and express Catholic values, and to promote loving unity while respecting diversity. Our goal is to accomplish these things in such a way that our life here proclaims the Lord Jesus for all to see.

Leader Bio:
I was born in 1973 in Sonnino, a charming medieval town situated 80 km south of Rome, Italy. After serving in the army as a paratrooper, I followed my calling and entered the Seminary at the age of 23.
I pursued my degrees in Philosophy and Theology at the prestigious Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. Later, I obtained a Master's degree in Communication from the Pontifical Lateran University, also in Rome. On December 3, 2005, I was ordained priest.
My journey as a priest began at the Parish of the Body and Blood of Christ in Rome. There, I learned valuable lessons about parish ministry. In 2009, I was sent to Albano Laziale, Italy, to serve as the Director of Formation for candidates seeking to become priests. I remained in that role until 2011.
Throughout my ministry, I've had the privilege of experiencing different cultures and serving in various parts of the world. I had the opportunity to undertake missionary work in Tanzania, Brazil, and Kosovo during the war. These experiences enriched my perspective and deepened my commitment to serving God.
In April 2011, I moved to Canada and became the Associate Pastor of St. Charles Borromeo's Parish in Toronto. Afterward, in 2014, I was assigned to St. Roch's Parish in Toronto. During my time there, I had the honour of being appointed as the Editorial Director of Radio Maria Canada, where I served for three years in English and Italian broadcasts in Toronto and Montreal.
In 2019, I was elected to the General Council of the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood and named General Procurator. As part of this role, I spent some time in Rome before returning to Canada. Upon my return, I was appointed as the Associate Pastor of St. Roch's Parish in Toronto until December 2021.
Starting in January 2022, I expressed my desire to join the Archdiocese of Toronto and was assigned as the Administrator of St. Patrick's Parish in Brampton. On June 29, 2022, I began my new ministry as the Pastor of St. Norbert's Parish in North York. I feel incredibly honoured and blessed to serve this community and will continue to do so until God calls me to the next chapter of my journey of faith.
In my daily prayers, I seek God's will to be done in my life and in the lives of all the people I encounter along my faith journey. I am deeply grateful for the support and collaboration of all my parishioners.
Yours faithfully,
Fr. Augusto Menichelli Â

"Yes, Lord"
"Yes, Lord! Jesus, I give all of this to you. Jesus," I just started out a dream for my neighbourhood. "I didn't ask you to make me a messenger to the world. I just wanted to love my neighbours. But Jesus, here it is. Here's my future, here's my loneliness, here are all the pressures, here are the criticism", and I gave Him everything. And I told Him to take me again and I would try to make "Yes, Lord" the continuing motto of my life..
