Who we are
St Paul Lutheran shares a unique fellowship with many other denominations within the community. Pulpit exchange and joint Advent and Lenten midweek services with Holy Trinity Anglican Church, as well as a shared Vacation Bible School (VBS), have forged a strong bond of friendship between the two congregations. VBS is open to all children in the community, especially those living in the surrounding neighborhood. The women of the church meet regularly for Bible study and fellowship. In winter, they sew quilts for Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR) as well as for local needs. Another outreach includes participation in the Yorkton Ministerial Association. The Men's Bible Study meets monthly. Our congregation provides a community supper once a year and is active in the Assiniboine Food Secure Alliance and Habitat for Humanity. Our Sunday School program is an active part of our church. Confirmation involves the youth ages 12 - 13 and their parents as they learn both Biblical and Lutheran wisdom.
