Hathern Church will be running a cake stall and refreshments at the village It's a Knockout event on the playing field. Come and enjoy the fun from 1pm till late.

Each year we need to raise approximately £20K. There are many ways in which you can give to Hathern Church. You can donate; sponsor a day; give regularly through Direct Debit; support our regular fundraising events; include us in your Will. You can also give on our Gift Day. Come and see us at the village cross (or in church if it's wet).

Hathern Open Gardens all weekend, 25-26 June, 12-5 each day. In church there will be ploughman's lunches and a history society film. Lots of lovely gardens to see too.

We are happy to support Hathern Village Association's Wicked Hathern Festival. A fun day out for all the family, with music all day long from 12 Noon.
Hathern Church will be providing a cake stall with tea and coffee, keeping the hunger pains at bay. Then to keep the children occupied you will find us in the play area with paints and crafts.
And if it all gets too much just follow the Cross to the Mindfulness Cafe, where there's a quiet space for adults....well maybe not so quiet...but calm!

Everyone is welcome to our Harvest Supper. Bring a plate of food enough for four people to share. And while we eat we will watch a feature length film.

A friendly service encouraging family participation. If there has been a Baptism on a previous Sunday, then the Baptism family is encouraged to attend this service for the sharing of the lighted candle, to receive the church gifts and to be welcomed into the family of Church. And there's always cake afterwards!

Are you aged between 10-16 and play a musical instrument? Do you get bored playing on your own and want to share your love of music with other like-minded young people? Then Music Cafe is for you. It doesn't matter what type of music you want to play we will accommodate you. Unfortunately we are unable to teach you to play, but we can help you improve your skills of playing with other people.
Music Cafe has been going for a number of years and spawned a number of bands including Blue Horizon, now playing as Sixth Wave, The Diary of a Lovesick Alpaca and Cross Street. For more information email Bill Leivers at [email protected] or telephone 01509 843440 for more details.

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
