Who we are
The Sainte Rafqa church was founded in 2006, with the rental of the Ste Claire church, of the English-speaking parish of the Latin diocese of Longueuil. This rental took place on the initiative of two priests, P. Pierre Azzi and P. Sami Farah.
The mission of St. Rafqa began with a few dozen families who wanted, despite their small number, to form a community together, and gather around a church.
The church of St. Rafqa was bought in 2011 thanks to the initiative of Archbishop Joseph Khoury and that of P. Sami Farah.
From the foundation of the church in 2006 until 2013, several temporary and intermittent priests have served the community.

With us night and morning
