Who we are
St. Timothy's, Perrysburg, is in the midst of its third generation as a neighborhood parish that values Episcopal traditions, (particularly Prayer Book Worship), yet offers innovative approaches to religious study, learning, and growth. A commitment to a provision of warm pastoral care, genuine fellowship, and ministries includes St. Timothy's Clothesline, (a boutique-like, free clothing ministry), St. Tim's Discovers, (a dynamic concert series showcasing all ages of local artists bringing classical music to the community through the church), Women on a Journey, (an experiential study group seeking to plumb the depths of spirituality), and an interfaith Men's Group, (mid-way in its second decade bringing together academically inquisitive men of diverse faith traditions to chart a course of mutual respect and understand.)

Leader Bio:
In her 31 years of ordained ministry, Sarah has lead congregations large and small, helped to re-establish a congregation in a church building when the prior congregation had left the Episcopal Church, served as a diocesan canon to the ordinary and transition officer, a CREDO faculty member and is serving in her third interim.
In 1990 she was the first woman ordained in the Diocese of Nebraska. Sarah's family lives in Nebraska. One of her CREDO goals years ago was to be a great aunt to her two nephews. She is now officially a great aunt to her three great-nephews and expects to spend more time with them when she retires after St. Tim’s no longer needs her. Sarah is well trained, well supervised and well herded by her nine year old Bearded Collie.

St. Timothy's Episcopal Church History
St. Timothy’s was founded as a mission of the Diocese of Ohio. The new mission was indebted to St. Paul’s, Maumee for most of its original members choosing Saint Timothy as its patron and name. Saint Timothy was a young associate of Saint Paul.
The members began worshiping in March of 1962 at the First Presbyterian Church in Perrysburg. They continued meeting there until March 1,1964, when the congregation moved to the newly constructed church.
St. Timothy’s experienced remarkable growth. By 1969, the congregation attained financial self-sufficiency and was granted parish status by diocesan convention in 1970. In the summer of 1970, St. Timothy’s completed the Rectory used for clergy residence. Since then, St. Timothy’s has undergone two major expansions in 1985 and 1995.
St. Timothy’s is located on several wooded acres. It’s New England-like architecture features a large brick wall which surrounds the tree-filled courtyard. The courtyard has hosted receptions, worship services, fellowship, and outreach activities.
