Stein Highway Church of God welcomes all to experience and share God’s Love through His word, through His Holy Spirit, and through His people. Our diverse and dynamic community comforts those who are hurting, reaches out to those who are lost, and offers hope to the hopeless.
We offer a full array of discipleship programs to assist individuals in their quest for God. In Bible Study, we gather to intimately reflect on God’s Word and grow strong in our faith through His nourishment and truth.

Pastor Dan Southern is an Ordained Bishop who holds degrees in Theology, Christian Education, Counseling, and is also a Chaplin with the Church of God. He has over thirty years of experience in ministry. He has written extensively for the local media and served on a variety of boards, including The Drug Free Coalition, The Local Management Board, and The Children’s Council. He has also worked and served in the field of Special Education.
He has been awarded Outstanding Young Men of America 1980 and 1983, Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges 1980, International Who’s Who of Professionals 1996, and the Extraordinary Service Award, Queen Anne’s County Community Partnership for Children 2006.
He mixes humor and relevant truth to his preaching and teaching style. As always, he places emphasis upon the life changing power of God’s word.
