Additional Info:
The Stillwater Community Chapel was established in April of 1991. A group of families were earnestly seeking a place where they could worship the Lord and grow spiritually under the fundamental teaching of the Word of God without the "legalistic baggage" that so often accompanies fundamental churches today.
From our inception, we have asked God through His Holy Spirit, to teach us and guide us in our walk together. Our part as individual members of the body of Christ, is to do all we can to understand the Scriptures and be obedient to the Lord's directions found therein. We agree to be patient with each other and not to argue any point from past tradition or denominational bias. Rather, we go to the Word of God together with an open mind and heart, and allow God, through His Spirit, to lead us in unity as each issue comes up. This attitude has prevailed for 18 years, and we praise God for His hand of direction in our lives, both individually and corporately!
We are actively engaged in a variety of activities and studies throughout the week and are deeply committed to what God is doing in His Church both here at home and around the world.
We encourage you to come and experience the balance of "grace and truth" at the Stillwater Community Chapel as we continue to grow together into the people that God intends for us to be.

Abide in my heart
Come, Lord Jesus, and abide in my heart. How grateful I am to realize that the answer to my prayer does not depend on me at all. As I quietly abide in You and let Your life flow into me, what freedom it is to know that the Father does not see my threadbare patience or insufficient trust, rather only Your patience, Lord, and Your confidence that the Father has everything in hand. In Your faith I thank You right now for a more glorious answer to my prayer than I can imagine. Amen.
